eatingdonuts44@alien.topBtoHeadphones•For you what’s the best headphone/IEM and what genre you listen with them?English
1·2 years agoWell currently love the hd800s for mostly everything thats not electronic and rock with a lot of gain on guitars and is badly mastered. Unfortunately thats a lot of my library so Liric takes care of that. Both actually have the same eq, 3db bass shelf at 120hz.
But if I had to choose more specifically, hd800s and Pink Floyd is a match made in heaven.

If its made well then plastic isnt an issue, for example Sennheiser 600 line and also most of HD800/s.

1·2 years agoI imagine some wireless buds that have decent water resistant ratings would be best, plus no wires to think about when in the bath.

eatingdonuts44@alien.topBtoHeadphones•Are there wireless earbuds that are highly rated with no known issues?English
1·2 years agoEarbuds definetely last more than 2 years in the best case scenario, 4-5 years might be the limit where if nothing else goes wrong battery will probably become much worse. But I guess it depends how much you use them / charge them.
Upgraded from s10e to an s23+ when it came out, couldnt be happier

Right now im only heavy into headphones, speaker system is fine considering I use it very rarely, besides on low volumes to not anoy everyone.
Now for headphones right now I just want to get a tube amp (probably Feliks Elise) for the 800s and maaaybe down the line an end game closed back as well, Im probably done with open backs. Liric and Verite Closed look interesting.

1·2 years agoOr in my case headphones start sliding forward cause of little clamp force
XS with a geekria headband cover was as comfortable as 800s I have now, which is a lot.
I wanna say 800s, but they would fall off my head if I tried
Hard to decide between hd800s and meze 109 pro. I might give it to the 109 considering the price and how its just good for any song you listen to.
