In all seriousness, though, I am searching for an upgrade from my DT 990s (290 grams) and have heard fantastic things about the LCD-2 classic line. However, I have also heard horror stories and discourse amongst the forums from people who are not big fans of the weight.
What are some of your experiences with Audeze headphones, specifically regarding the weight? Does the adjustability and comfort make it less significant an issue than some people describe?
I also encourage those with 500+ gram headphones to say their thoughts.
literally none. Just sit with good posture. If your neck hurts, it serves as a reminder to sit up more straight.
Heavy headphones punish poor posture, which in turn helps you in the long by correcting it.
Or in my case headphones start sliding forward cause of little clamp force
