  • I recently got to the point where, after 4 dacs, 3 dac/amps, DD IEMs, etc. I now only upgrade if it’s a new chip or new tech. While the DAC/AMPS and seperate AMPs and DACs do have a bit of a different sound, there is not enough there for me to buy any more. I am simply enjoying what I have (and I have way to much) and I am finding some of my gear sounds better with other gear. My FiiO K9 Pro and Topping amp sound really good together. Actually, having more fun mixing the gear up to see what I get.

  • The last thing you want is for your IEM’s to go in deeper. The ear has two very distinct sections. Outer and inner. The inner part of our ears are only covered by a VERY thin layer of skin. Having something pushing on that all day would start to cause, probably a pretty decent amount of discomfort.

You can use different tips or extenders (purchased seperatly) if you feel they are not fitting right. Just don’t cram them in your ears. It will start to hurt.

  • I have a pretty fair amount of IEMs, and I have the pleasure of entering the "I really only need what’s different " plain of reality.

I was looking at these or the new Truthear Nova (arrives today). I love the Hexa so I bumped it up a bit. I have the Aria Origional and I like that pair a lot also. Sounds like I saved a few bucks.

Thanks for the review. Maybe an “on sale” item down the road.

  • Hmmm…how bad are they? Well, I have never considered buying them which goes against my moral music compass as I consider buying just about everything I see.

Honestly, there are many, many better headphones out there in that price range.

You have Black Friday right around the corner. Just wait. You will be able to get a much better pair, probably, in the same price range.
