this is the correct answer, your bluetooth probably has a better amp/dac circuit than your phone does. a dongle would be a better comparison point than straight to the phone.

Interesting, the only local audio shop near me specializes in tube amps and home audio, they stopped carrying headphones before i got a chance to demo the Audeze which is why it took so long to become mine haha.

Maybe I’ll take them down there after the holidays and shop around.

i just started with Qobuz about a month ago and have switched to that being my primary streaming service. I will be using both though, Spotify for discovery and sharing with people and Qobuz for serious listening.

Pick a sound signature, pick 2 or 3 with a good return policy, test em out. A LOT of these IEMs sound similar, you really cannot go wrong with just picking a few you hear are good and deciding for yourself.

A lot of cables that are normally too expensive and are the correct price this week.
