We have a kids Amazon Echo into a Sharp 1-Bit digital all-in-one system out to a pair of Pioneer Andrew Jones speakers (with kind of silly Audioquest speaker cables). Sounds better than anything I ever had until I got out of college!

1·1 year agoI buy records, CD’s and cassettes along with streaming Qobuz and files via Roon. I like all of them and don’t really think about what’s best.
I have everything ripped and renew Roon every year and I love it. Mostly to try out new music and to put on things in the background, but if I’m home alone doing “serious listening*”, I like browsing my cd and lp collection more
*sorry. Silly term but I think most here know what I mean

Good stuff. I have the same amp and it’s bonkers to me that they don’t offer the matching CD player that you have there in silver. The AS-801 in silver is a classic, performance and looks, in my opinion. It’s a shame there is no matching front end available in the US.
She’s great. Never would have thought twice about her but my kids like her and I’m down. Way better than T Swift!
