Give a live feedback loop to the room and I’ll tell you why people love vinyl so much.
Moving your head an inch at the listening position sounds different… (Just continuing your list here) :)
Two channel audio reproduction is a flawed method from the start. I’ll give a half nod to two overhead mics - sorta kinda but not really.
So it’s like chasing tail at a pe nis party.
Here’s one. It really has a clear recording but keeps most people guessing at first. Turn it up loud. Great for headphones too. https://open.spotify.com/track/3dTGR2oQA1XaC850o5oPdK?si=f9hXtv7NQQ6eNI8ZU4XEsA
Voice is really let you check the realism of your system you know.

Moving your head in the listening position just half an inch certainly has more impact.
If my wife tries to place things on the speaker, the sound quality in the room experiences a sudden amplitude peak.
I now have speakers with tweeters on top. Winning.
I’ve figured it out: it’s “alive” because it’s a microphonic feedback loop. It never sounds the exact same.
What headphone?
Nope. Satisfaction is under 1k.
Only true for speakers and passive room treatments.
Definition if hifi: The DIN 45500, however, specified a frequency range of at least 40/50 Hz to 12.5 kHz (the lower limit depending on the device type).
The human ear is most sensitive to tones between 2 kHz and 5 kHz, making pitch differences most perceptible in this range. For magnetic sound technology, DIN 45500 mandated a linear frequency response in the range of 250 Hz to 6300 Hz for HiFi home studio devices, with a tolerance of up to 5 dB. Stricter rules applied to studio devices according to DIN 45511: In a frequency range of 80 Hz to 8000 Hz, only a tolerance of 3 dB was allowed.
You say: “I have an addiction.”
It’s because THAT style is modern or nice to them? Not everyone like what you like. I can’t stand US interious design at all, it all looks like crap that fell off of the titanic to me.
Put money into a savings account in the moment you get your paycheck. 200, 500, 2K doesn’t matter. You buy less crap that way too. Win-win.
It’s a good thing. It’s done professionally in many places.
Doesn’t matter at all.
