I think of it more as the sunk cost fallacy.

It’s an addiction to that feeling you get when you buy something new. It’s amplified now that social media is constantly bombarding you with things to sell you.

The end game headphones a lot of the time are not any better than the “mid tier” headphones. Heck the headphones you listed technically aren’t even considered end game. They are artificial prices that do not dictate quality.

Stop being a consumer whore. You are wasting money on things that aren’t improving your life. You are chasing the feeling of getting something new to fill a void you have In your life.
