I had a 2016 Audi Q3 with a Bose system that I was actually somewhat impressed by considering Bose’s typical sound.
After that I had Fender in my 2019 Golf R and found it to be bright and a bit harsh. Always had the treble and mids EQ’d down.
Now I have Harmon Kardon in a 2023 Kia Sportage and it’s adequate. It doesn’t blow my mind, but I also never notice it sounding bad.
It happens. If I’m tired, or had a stressful day, music always sounds horrible. I’m sure the system is fine!

Same. I upgraded IC’s and my partner came home and said why does this sound better? When I said it was the cables, she got mad and said there’s no way. I don’t know…
Maybe top tier for your average consumer-grade stereo equipment, but there are many brands beyond what is listed here.
