It was between this and the Cambridge CXN v2 and my god is there the most minute difference between them which is a shock! Anyone else have one of these and what do you think about the upgraded dac?

    Any difference in the digital outputs between the Pro and Pro+? I will be using it with ext DAC, but don’t mind buying the Pro+ if the improved DAC is worth the extra $$. Thanks!

    Bought one a few weeks ago & love it. I have a Vincent SV228 with Burr-Brown PCM5102 DAC that I prefer, but the WiiM is great for streaming (I was using Bluetooth before). Between the WiiM & MiniDSP w/Dirac, two of the best investments I’ve made.

    I just bought the WiiM and have it running to my Hegel H190 over coax (using the Hegel’s DAC). The app is great, it’s 100% gapless, and does almost everything I could ask for in streaming Qobuz and Tidal. It even has a Bluetooth remote! I just wish they would add volume normalization, but otherwise super happy with it. I was getting frustrated with Audirvana and gaps in UpNp streaming, this solved it, for a great price.

    I’ve had my mini for quite some time now and been very happy with functionality of the software, a key component of any streamer.

    Upgrading to the Pro right now because it has integrated LMS compatibility so I don’t have to use UPNP.

    I’m pulling the trigger on it to replace my chromecast audio with a basic smsl dac, I think it’s time to go past Spotify premium and I am trying Qobuz but having issues with 96khz hi res which seems to be the limit of CA. I wonder if it works properly with the Qobuz app and if I can keep it connected at the same time to output via toslink to the dac and rca to my amp.

    Love mine, it’s a dream come true. Incredibly convenient, looks good, the app is great (iOS for me).

    I just wish it could output using both the optical and line out at the same time. Would be cool to have that for comparison checks. Right now, switching the output type also resets the current airplay connection, which is annoying.

    Question - I’m currently using a WiiM mini into an external dac, is there any reason to upgrade to the pro plus? Like purely as a streaming device, would it potentially sound “better” even into my current dac due to better reclocking, PSU, filtering, jitter performance, etc.

    I recently got a Pro (not +) to go up a notch from the Mini, now in a secondary system. I had been using Mini with a Topping E30 ll, but the Pro line out sounds better to me than the Topping….maybe it’s the MQA decoding….has anyone done a Pro v Pro+ shootout?

    I’m at the end of my patience with my Sonos gear, so looking at the Wiim as a replacement. How easy is it to set up to stream from a Nas? That’s the bit of functionality I’m concerned about losing as I listen to my own library a lot.
