Sony ES gear is my all time fav type of audio equipment. I own both a FA50ES and a FA3ES, both work like a dream and show no signs of problems which is amazing considering they are over 25 years old! Anyone else love this particular type of gear?

I’ve got news for you - the new 7000ES receiver is possibly the best home theater receiver they’ve ever made - it’s certainly the best I’ve ever heard since I got into the industry in 1994.
Not only that, the ES line of projectors is regularly regarded as the gold standard for 4k home projection (along with JVC).
I own a fair amount of older Sony ES stuff (my regular-use pre-pro is a Sony TA-E1000ESD) and while it still sounds great, the new stuff has the same bullet proof build quality and sound quality as the old stuff.
