One of the appeals of the Eversolo was the review by Steve Huff. His review mentioned the A6 better than the Lumin U2 mini and close to the U2.
That matters to me as I have compared many streamers before settling on my current which I deduced to my ears slightly worse than a U2 mini.
The value of the eversolo A6 is appealing.
Who has got one and compared to Lumin?
I am in the belief that streamers make a difference. I have upgraded most parts of my system and it is revealing enough to tell a difference between a Wiim and a Node. I went with a RasPi with DigiOne Sig HAT.
If an A6 is better than an U2 mini that would be a major upgrade to me.
I am still torn if I want to go with the master or a8 and upgrade the DAC too.
I have an A8 on the way and will put it up against my Hifi Rose and Aurender streamer/DACs.

I have an A6 and I’m pretty happy with it. I think it sounds great, but haven’t heard the lumin. Audiosciencereview did an A6 review a while back that you may want to check out.
Only annoying thing with the A6 is that occasionally it struggled to connect to the internet when I wanted to use it
I’ve got the lumin u2 mini and it’s brilliant. I use to with roon and chord qutest DAC.
The DAC is absolutely imperative. Obviously. The lumin is useless without a DAC.
I upgraded from auralic aries mini and it’s a massive upgrade.
Chord make just about the best dacs on the market.
I got my RasPi and DigiOne because of Darko. Gave it a try and compared to others. It was so good for the money. The U2 mini was better but with the money saved I got the chord Hugo DAC along with the lifetime Roon with money still to spare.
Now that eversolo a6 is so talked about, I know it will have to exceed the u2 mini or I don’t need bother with it.

What utter BS is he putting out. I doubt he can hear most of the differences. He is using sighted listening, so flouncy reviews are usually what comes out.
I remember being in a room at AXPONA with one of the big audio reviewers. His choice of music was an old 45 rpm scratched beyond words, and this is his test track. All I could hear was the scratches.
