Loving learning more about high quality audio and equipment. Are their any lists of books an aspiring audiophile should look into to learn more about all this?

Specific to Macintosh so maybe not what you are looking for.
Look for anything between the 1970’s-1990’s especially on audio science. Science has not changed and it can give you a good basis for knowledge that is lacking in the online community that did not even grow up with old Class A amps, reel to reels, etc. Radio Shack paid for some to be published believe it nor not. If I can find some of mine in a box somewhere I will post their titles.

The master’s handbook of acoustics is probably the closest there is.
Here’s a worthwhile piece of whatever the audiophile cannon is:

The Complete Guide to High-End Audio by Robert Harley, editor of Stereophile magazine.
The editions don’t change all that much so you can seek out a used copy to save some $$$.
