Just curious about your favorite things to play on your system. I have a decent record collection but if im home doing things i have a few extended playlists on apple music and enjoy their lossless through a simple usb DAC to a 90s Yamaha receiver with a variety of goodwill speakers and old sub but everything tuned together to work really nicely.
Personally my favorite vinyl to listen to is a 12 extended single of lovecats by the cure. John Coltrane and Antonio Carlos Jobim get alot of spin time too. Lots of samba, jazz, and random low fi house on record.
My digital libraries have lots of jazz inspired hip hop mostly 90s, house, math rock, and funk. Some artists ive been listening too more recently are FKJ, Yussef Dayes, Tom Misch, and hiatus kaiyote
What do you listen to?
You won’t believe this…
Country.
With you, Friend.
If you don’t have a copy you should.

Johnny Cash is a legend, how could I not!?
For true, I’m not a country kind of guy, but sometimes only a little JC, Waylon, and Willie will do!
I can’t stand Country, but damn. Some of it legit qualifies as audiophile in my book. So while it’s not my taste, I can totally respect that choice.
I respect your respect!
Outlaw country is excellent on all fronts
I find myself listening to a lot of Rye Cooder and John Prine’s earlier stuff. It’s pretty raw, but incredibly well recorded.
My favorite country album, in recent days: I don’t remember exactly what it’s called, but it’s Johnny Cash and Willie Nelson doing VH1 Storytellers: Live. It’s a really great sounding live album.
If you want country sound with great engineering and great writing try Blitzen Trapper.
