Man I’ve been on the lookout for a 99 for a while and never found one in good condition. Any idea how the 300 compares? It’s currently on ebay.

Damn that’s cool. I only have about 50 and they’re all pretty mainstream. I had no idea there was even 3k records released on sacd. How do you rip them?

I have a lokius between my pre and amp so I can add some air and treble sparkle to my very warm vintage speakers. I also have taken measurements with a umik and rew to create some flattening filters when using digital sources but I’ve generally resisted eqing because I usually seem to make it sound worse. Finally, I’ve set my sub by ear but also have the ability to change how much bass I’m getting one of those two tools I listed.

Any dedicated dac amp will be an improvement over using the headphone out on a receiver imo
