99% likely you will not be able to hear the different between AptX and AptX HD anyway.

AptX is 16 bit 352kbps (compressed). that’s transparent enough for everyone. majority of people cannot tell the difference between 320kbps MP3 and 1411kbps WAV files (CD quality).

again with more modern codecs such as AAC, people cannot tell the difference between 256kbps AAC and 1411kbps WAV files. it’s a non issue.

So I got the Accentums today and I did my research

I say own it. you did your research. Accentum is a new release from Sennheiser. budget price just means less ANC and transparency ability and I heard a slightly bass boost sound compared to Momentum 4.

if I was shopping for a wireless headphone with good sound right now I would consider the Accentum as an option because it’s also within my budget.

used the smallest tips, but still made the inside of my ears hurt. they ended up in the drawer.

good thing was they were one of the cheapest recommended IEM’s at the time so wasn’t much of a loss. just realised IEM’s are not for me.

I partially agree with you. partially because I still have a pair and want to believe they will keep working for a few years.

I think they just pushed technology and design too far. you won’t find a single TWS model that doesn’t have complaints of poor battery life or one side dying within a year. the battery is just way too small and the ones they put in TWS are basically duds (poor QC cells) that didn’t make the cut for use in medical equipment.

even a big company Sony has a tonne of TWS battery issues.

but yeah I think next time I need to buy, I think I will go with one of those with a wire connecting and larger battery cell.

I put my headphones on. go into the bathroom and get bottomless. sit on the edge of the bathtub and put one foot on the wall so my legs are spread eagle, then that’s when I press play on the headphones start my music and proceed to wax my butthole. yeah I have a problem with hair on my body.

I remember when this was in some feed and people were saying it would be a “half price Audeze Maxwell”.

But I’m not sure if it’s the home run that people assume it is though. How do we know it uses planar drivers? and even if it does will it really be a Maxwell clone?

One other thing I am concerned about is if it uses Audeze drivers seems like there are many issues with crinkling drivers, from what I read it is partly due to using planar driver with closed back design. When there is pressure applied to the pads there is not enough room for the air to escape making the planar driver very fragile and easy to damage.

I’m not interested in the Maxwell or pulse because I can’t get either, but just some things to think about I think.

I kinda don’t get it. aren’t the plugs meant to go in on the topside of the IEM?

it looks like these cables have an additional bend that makes it seem like the cable would go in the bottom of the IEM.
