1 year agousa specs are regulated so they tend to be truer. I would start with narrowing your search down to USA made amps and DO pay attention to RMS watts @ 8 ohms 20-20khz (that’s the real wattage @ a common speaker impedance measured across all of the audible frequencies). The schiTT amps would be a good start for being a noob and on a budget. the guys that run the company are legends. as far as how much or little power, it would really depend on the speaker. Personally I’m an over powerer… hope that helps man.
