Not an option, financially, so I am not tempted. I would spend crazy money on loudspeakers, though, if I could. For myself, I don’t find the differences in other components terribly important. Watts are watts, to a large degree.

Absolutely! It was an awakening, many years ago, to find out what great reproduction was. Quickly following that was the realization about how the bulk of rock music is not recorded and produced to sound like the band is in front of you. Instead, the goal is to sell the most records. The two are not much the same, and it has led to some great music being somewhat diminished by shitty recording and production techniques. Also, not helping is that fact that surely almost all rock musicians have impaired hearing.

Is MA Monitor Audio?

I have not heard any Wilson loudspeaker which I thought was worth their price. They are very good indeed, but hugely overpriced.
