I’ve always been told to leave it on. For solid state equipment, constant heating/cooling from turning it off and on just causes wear to the electrical components because they expand and contract with heat. If there are moving parts like fans, turn it off when not in use.

Last time I upgraded, I brought 7 big boxes home, looked over at my girlfriend of 5 years when I opened the door and she said “Well… I guess there goes my wedding ring!”
A little remorseful in that moment - thankfully she laughed at her joke after that
In terms of saving money on speakers - getting married
I was always warned about wear and tear from expansion and contraction when heating and cooling between power cycles. Is that old school and less of a concern with modern electronics?
