I can’t speak to features, but Yamaha still makes nice receivers at that price point. So I’d consider Yamaha, but i am not recommending for or against. I listened at Best Buy a couple of years ago. Across the 4 brands (Pioneer was at this store also) each sounded comparable at each price point but each brand had its unique sound.
