1 year agoDesign of the PCB, shielding, quality of the parts, Q&A etc.
Couple other aspects you might have neglected to consider:
- Interface; good buttons, good placement, good cable location, etc; basically, how you interact with the thing
- Durability. Cheap parts might not last as long, or stay within specs as long or in varying conditions (heat, air pressure, etc). Better connectors, better wiring.
- After sale support
I have a rockford fosgate 650w in my 2011 eclipse GT. It’s quite frankly good enough for me as it is. It’s got a 10 inch in a scealed enclosure and it’s loud enough to shake the mirrors pretty damn good. Well balanced, too. For a setup that’s 12 years old, it’s very well put together.
The only downside is the amount of rattles in the car.
It might not be super impressive to the average basshead, but it’s by far the best one I have ever heard as a factory setup.
