  • You mentioned Philco which appears to be a Brazilian brand that here in the US I’ve never heard of. I suggest saving up for a more reputable brand that will last. By the time you buy your 4th set of cheap headphones you will already have spent more than if you had just saved and bought the more expensive quality brand. Beyerdynamic is known for being extremely durable, with replacement parts for every component if they ever do happen to break.

    If they don’t need to be over ear you could also start looking into IEMs, a few Chinese companies all compete to be the best sounding while costing the least, so you could buy a few sets for the same price as an over ear headphone. Less moving parts to break also. Tomorrow on 11/11 they have a huge sale for singles day in China, so if you’re interested they will have good deals to look out for.
