The more expensive, the lower will be the (perceptive) difference… commonly, tbh most of the things are like this, cheap to intermediary have huge difference, then intermediate to premium is less, maybe who is deep into this area can tell the minimal details, but the rule remains the same

If you need an cheap, intermediate or premium DAC, the best one to say is yourself, most here are always pleased with Apple dongle, maybe even myself, but since the headphone that seems to be perfect for me in all aspects is DT 880 Pro so i will choose Focusrite Scarllet Solo since the warranty (3 years) and customer service are extremely excellent, also cause focusrite is very well recommended for beginners, as myself

Thank you! I will try this out on APO and see the diference, mainly when i got my hands on DT880 Pro (or the K52 since i want is as an step headphone since i selled my hd569, it was uncomfortable, i could feel the earcup edges against the own earpads and the foam was minimal)

It gets so boomy, looks like fake china headphones, or better, gives you a experience of how Razer Blackshark V2X is, pure trash

I look at the frequency response of the headphones they review, and mainly i take it more serious if ‘em show which DAC they use, it it’s FiiO i discard imediatelly since these dacs always add color to sound, even more their dongles

Myself, when i say something about an headphone, i at least try once one or the same headphone neutralized by EQ, and then i try without, as i told in an comment below, i say “it’s increased there” or “it’s reduced there” so I don’t disturb much in others choices and perception, and i always prefer to tell what i say as “Opnion”
