You want the least amount of components to avoid phase shift and distorsion etc. and the ideal speaker is a point source that plays all frequencies. You would have a real weird acoustic center if you had 10 or 20 drivers all with unique frequency ranges.
You are making this way too complicated, for $5k there is no way I would go separate pre/power amp or even think about room correction. I would spend 3k on a great pair of speakers and then 1.5k on a good integrated amplifier with a built-in dac and then the rest on a cheap streamer and cables etc.
