shrug It works for me. The best headphones I’ve ever heard were Stax, but I have other priorities before I’d ever spend that much on cans. It’d be nice to get tube power again on the headphone system, but I’m pretty happy with the triode monoblock setup in the living room for now.

EAC, with checksums, logs, cue files. You may not need it, but if you ever share it, those are the things that trackers look for.

Tube amps can have some pretty spectacular failures, but weren’t the Futterman OTL transistor amps basically ticking time bombs for crowbar’ing an ridiculous voltage to the speakers?
