My two favourites that I swap between on the daily are my LCD 2’s and my huh duh six hungeos by ol mate senn. It’s such a well rounded headphone, it’s the only headphone I own that I use without eq because it’s stock tuning is just so nice. If I crave a bass shelf I tend to switch out the HD600 for my lcd 2 but with that said, the hd600’s are just so comfy, and tuned too well that they just feel like the headphoniest headphone ever. It’s the first thing I think of when I think of headphones, so yeah I think they’re just awesome!

I reckon if you’re a fan of stinky bass on ‘big’ tracks, planars are pretty great when it comes to EQ’ing them to have dumb bass shelves, because for me at least, there’s no discernible distortion, and that seems to be common among high-end headphones and I imagine those T50’s could handle similarly.

Am I the only one that does this to their headphones? I only do this for a couple of tracks, THE PLAN by Travis Scott on the LCD 2’s with this 10+ db bass shelf makes it so fun. OTHERWISE I keep it at 5db. Am I insane for this or nah?
