I wanna know how artistic we all are. Just estimate.
Me I spended about $3500. U? For me, I think I am done now. I got the HD800 and Noble k10u and I just bought the Campfire Vega and after that I am done.
- It seem like 50% people her spended over $1000. Very interesting.
- Headphones can add up fast. Here are some I remember. - AirPod Pro x3 - $750
- Westone 4R - $450
- Ultrasone Pro 900 - $350
- Audeze LCD-3 - $950
- Timeless 7Hz AE - $250
- Sennheiser - $400
- ADV M5-TWS - $500
- ADV M3 - $80
 - That’s $3,730, and I’m sure I’ve bought a few more over the years.
- I prefer not to know
- Counting only the gear that I kept in approximate amounts, too damn much. It has been a fun ride though. I’ll never forget my first Hi-fi experience with my Meze 99 and BTR5. At this point the only gear I’m saving for is either ZMF Caldera, Meze Elite, Audeze LCD 5, or Focal Utopia. - 3 Amps, 1 DAC, 1 BT unit: $3,300 - 4 Headphones: $3,600 - 2 IEMs: $1,350 - Cables + adapters: $1,000 - Pads, mostly ZMF and Focal: $650 - Total: Over $9,900 - Gear sold or returned: $2,600
- Moondrop Aria $110 - Shouer S12 $180 - Moondrop Blessing 2 $420 - Sennheiser HD560s $300 - Kiwi Ears Melody $140
- HD800, Corda Stack comes in at 3100 AUD retail. So probably a bit more on top of that, given entry level, in ears, gaming headphones, whatever.
- Do accessories count? DACs, amplifiers, IEM cables and eartips etc.? - Just headphones/IEMs: $60 for 2x KSC75, $80 for Moondrop Aria, $25 for Moondrop Chu, $15 for Moondrop Quarks DSP, $25 for Truthear Hola = $205 all in all - Including accessories: $18 for two Apple dongles (Lightning and USB-C), $20 for two different pairs of Spinfit eartips, $18 for an extra IEM cable, adding that up to the total above gives $261.
- uh… - Sennheiser HD6XX (+ customs fees): 250ish € - ZMF suede pads ( + customs fees again, do you see a pattern here? I hate Europe) 80ish € - FiiO K5 pro ESS: 200€ - Xduoo TA-26: 250€ - Tons of 6SN7 tubes and 6080 power tubes: ??? probably 200€ or more (it is not worth it) - FiiO KA1: 50€ - Truthear Hexa: 80€ - Aful Performer 5: 220€ - Uh… 1330€… so about 1440$. I hate myself rn. To be fair, I’ll stop with IEMs for now or at least sell my old stuff before getting something else. The market is developing so quickly that not buying things is the best choice atm.
