Picked this Onkyo PCS-05 stack up off FB Marketplace over the weekend for $30. It will be used for my headphone setup, which includes the Lyr+ as pictured here. Unfortunately, the CD player no longer works, but can’t complain too much for the price: this stack went for $1,000 in ‘92, according to the NYT.
Congratulations! I LOVE those mini stacks, and have been on the low-key hunt for years for one from one of the big players back in the day: Sony, Denon, Teac, Technics, Onkyo, etc. I gather that they were more popular overseas - i.e., Europe and Asia - than here in the States.
