I don’t think so, none of their stuff is sold in limited quantities where if you don’t buy it right now it’ll never he sold again. As far as I know most of their products stay in stock, not like sneakers, mtg cards or fortnite skins.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but they do have limited editions like the moondrop beautiful world or their collab dap with shanling and some others.
Also when they get around to making another version don’t they stop making the original? Thus encouraging you to buy the current version in case you might not like the new version and forever miss out on the original.
Isn’t that just how a general product cycle works… You have to remember that headphones and iems are a massive exception to product development as a whole.
Also the limited runs that they have done, as far as I am aware, have been purely aesthetic, the products themselves have always been available.
honestly, they still take their time back in starfield/ssr/ssp days but after they got hyped up in the Aria, they just released whatever they can find in their basement
Oh that reminds me of the limited cable fiasco they had. Their boss was clearing out the storage and found a bunch of old silver-plated cables he’s forgotten from waaay back. It was discolored but the end result was a super beautiful pink-blue. Since there wasn’t many, so he decided to do a limited sale on Taobao just to clear the stock (what’s left of them at least, after his employees went through them, lol). Condition was you buy Lan, there will be an option to add ¥25 or something to get the cable as an accessory. There was about some hundreds in number.
He forgot about scalpers.
So nobody really got the cables. They refunded the 25. I haven’t checked how much the scalpers are reselling them.
Here’s when they realized that they messed up. I remember their boss had a weibo about this thing from his point of view, where he said he didn’t knew that scalpers would exist. Can’t find that now. Click on “Translate content” to see very roughly what they’re saying
Moondrop are just spamming products for the FOMO crowd aren’t they?

No need, they know no one will be buying them after people move onto something else to hype up anyway.
Moondrop beautiful world limited to 777

Blessing 2 dusk is not available anymore.
Collabs shouldn’t count
It’s been released almost 4 years ago though (2019 December) and from what’s going around, Blessing 3 Dusk is coming soon.
It was released December 2020, I ordered it on initial pre-order (2020-12-12).
This is still quite a long product cycle, 3 years is like centuries in Chi-Fi years.
Thank you, edited my comment!
HD600 was released in 1997.

I’m really curious to see these, do you have any links?
Here’s when they found the cable.
