Hey everyone,

I want to purchase a specific track from this album :The Complete Capitol Recordings Of The Nat King Cole Trio | 16-bit/44.1kHz FLAC (it’s no. 8, “DISC 17 OF 18”)

I’ve read that 7digital is legit as a company that’s been around a long time but that doesn’t mean the song version is indeed a true FLAC.

It’s an extensive album and the songs are all there, but how can I be 100% sure what I’m buying is a FLAC and not just an mp3 that’s been converted for example? Thx

If there is no alternative what does it matter if they are transcodes…

But if you want to buy some samples first to try and validate with spek.

Asking 30% more for flac is a no go imo. They should be the same price.

I’ve never heard of them myself but from a quick look online they do appear to be a legitimate well-established company (as opposed to pirates) so why would you be suspicious they would be selling “fake” lossless music? You’re buying one song for less than $2 - live dangerously and give it the listening test… if you can’t tell whether it’s a mp3 or genuine flac… does it really matter?

      Step one: buy $5000 equipment

Step two : think 3 days if you want to spend $2 for a song

It was never about the music
