My friend acquired these from a theatre gig in great working condition, they are absolutely awesome paired with my Rythmik F12. Instruments sound incredible and full, and the soundstage is silly wide

I’ve got the 7A’s, my kids give me grief.

I just turn up the volume and grin.

Seriously, if he doesn’t think they’re “all that” - you really should consider buying them from him. A good amp and proper placement and they will spoil you for most anything else.

My friend used to work for a theatre doing musicals, and they were cleaning house so he was able to acquire these for nothing and was using them as a table in his garage not realizing what he owns. I have never felt the drums in rock music the way these kick me in the chest, and the stage is huge. Sealed dual 6.5” woofers and a 10” passive radiator with a 1 inch metal dome. I’m going to miss these very much when I have to return to my little Focal Choras

Too bad you don’t have the original stands that came with them. The stands really brought the sound to life. Outstanding speakers that were ahead of their time. I bought 10a’s new in the late ‘70’s. Had them till the ‘90’s when WAF in a small house did them in. Got rid of the wife in 2010 so I could get back to a proper full-size rig. :)

Nice. Position them so by angle or by height the tweeters are level with your ear. This did have optional stands originally. Aim for about 5-6 feet apart with slight toe in. (I have the 11A’s, RTA-15TL’s, and SDA SRS 3.1’s)
