I’m having a hard time figuring out where to place some bookshelf speakers with this new desk setup I’ve got.
My first thought was to the left and right of the pegboard, but worried the right bookshelf speaker will mess up the ‘aesthetic’ of the wall mounted PC.
My other idea was to mount them on the desk and have them above the left and right monitors. This seems tricky as most desk-mounted stands ‘clip’ on to the edge of the desk and they would need to be mounted deeper inside the desk with bolts or screws to be in the right location.
Another challenge is this is a rising desk and I wouldn’t want the speakers to hit the PC or stuff on the pegboard
This is very urgent as 1989 (Taylor’s Version) is dropping TONIGHT
Assuming they are standard box speakers, you want them at ear level. You can’t get them in the right place as is. Some bookshelf speakers are better at near field than others so I’d experiment, try goofy placements, especially considering you have a set of cans already. You can even point them up against a wall for a nice effect. Or move the displays, lose a display, etc.
