Did anyone else notice after using the DT990 for a substantial amount of the time, the sound changes significantly in the bass becoming much more boomy and punchy sounding? Replacing the pads with 770 pads brings this out much more as I just happened to figure. That’s what brought me to make my first post here, lol.

770 pads aren’t the same as 990 pads, I hope you didn’t put dt770 pads on your dt990.
