Sweet! Did the 20a breaker & hospital outlets here as well.

I remember convincing my s.o. (now wife) that we, of course, needed tunes for moving everything in. So setting up the stereo was first priority!

These include grounding reliability, assembly integrity, and strength and durability tests. (What differencies them from classic one) Source leviton a German company who test them

Wasn’t indicated but logic it would be a shame if grandma is unplugged because the janitor was too happy on the broom (Also practical for Sounds should be practical to move furniture without tearing everything out)

      They are red.

More seriously, they are harder to plug and unplug so if OP is ever on audio life support it will be hard for them to unplug his audio system.

if you’re trying to run an isolated ground circuit for your audio rig, plugging it into ethernet that runs to the rest of your house is going to bridge ground between the two circuits (and probably introduce a ground loop)

this is a situation where you probably do want a wifi bridge between your audio setup and the rest of your network. alternatively, you could run a little fiber bridge between them.

“network” is a dedicated run between the livingroom and my office where the interwebz comes in from the street. the wifi is for the personal computers and alarm. the network connection is just my work computer and the hub for my tv and mac mini which i use as a media server. i am all digital… if i still had a turntable i would be more leary of ground loop… but… point taken… if i run into any weirdness i will be sure to remove the ethernet from the equation first… and then go from there. house is fiber so a fiber bridge would probably be nbd. thanks for the heads up!

Try the fiber cable in between, it makes an galvanic isolation. I have fiber running just before my streamer setup and it makes quite the difference. Costed less then 100 bucks, very effective upgrade in my case.
