Hi all, i need advice on replacing the STK on an Akai amp.

The original died a year ago, i’ve got a couple new STKs but i’m not sure if i’ll be capable of replacing it since many people on ther forum told me i should check a bunch electrical things on the pins first so, what at first was a simple “desolder the old one and solder in the new one” turned into a “damn… should I be doing this??”.
Worst part is there are not many trustable technicians where i live

So, am i safe just replacing the STK or i should be aware of a lot other stuff?
