I’ve been using soulseek for a few months, and I’d like to know what can help me find the original version of a song.
Does looking at the metadata help? For example, a song released in 2012 will have libflac version 1.2.1 and it’s impossible for the version to be 1.3.0 because it’s a 2013 version, or is a song whose “publisher” name can’t be found in the metadata evidence of infringement?
I’ve noticed that songs with a spectrum like this sound better :

Why ?
Would an original song show signs of greater dynamics and less compression, for example ?
This is like reading Egyptian hieroglyphics.
