Haven’t saw any reports online, so here it is
Guess my luck finally ran out, even though I had a few IEMs with widespread QC issues (Chu, Salnotes Zero, Final E500), this is my first “win”
Other than the faceplate issue, I like the sound (can’t justify spending this much since I own an EM6L), hopefully the Chopin lasts long
I wouldn’t use super glue because it can stain the plastic if even a little seeps out, some B7000 would be better as it doesn’t melt plastic.
Protip: use Lazerbond or a similar UV-hardening glue.
Super cheap and doesn‘t harm the plastic. Can easily be cleaned.
How do you UV harden a glue that is gonna sit between two completely opaque surfaces? Honest question.
You‘d put it in the seams of course, not behind the opaque surface :)
I used B7000 to fix a Tanchjim Kara and it worked very well.
