I don’t play it much these days but it’s a very cool piece I’m glad I picked up when I did.

    again. Pioneer was good looking but had a lot of distortion. Kenwood, Alpine was far more superior for the car. Yamaha and Kenwood was not in the same class . Kenwood was in the same class as JVC in 1988. Yamaha had a lot less distortion

      I’ll just have to disagree with you on that one. You can put an early (between 79 and the mid 80’s Pioneer Super Tuner II cassette deck with a set of Jensen Co Axial or Tri Axial speakers and it would sound amazing. I would compare Alpine to Blaupunkt and Clarion for best car audio during those times. You are right that Kenwood spent more time making better car audio than their home audio

        Clarion is as bad as Audiovox . If you actually had a ear for music you would have had a kenwood or alpine with Boston acoustics speakers or Polk audio . The low end you could hear the distortion especially as loud as I jammed .
