Hi,

has anyone experience placing (sealed) subwoofers within cabinets? The furniture company Clic manufactures cabinets for specific subwoofers for the Lyngdorf brand as well as general subs. To reduce vibration they are isolated with a neoprene mat.

I would use my existing furniture and cut a hole in the bottom of one cabinet …

Any experience? Comments? Suggestion?

🙏

I see a couple of issues. You are limiting sub placement, which can be critical. You are limited to subs that fit in the enclosure. And the neoprene mat can only do so much to isolate vibrations.
