Muffled sound is the best description of airplay (2). My streaming amplifier got airplay as well as tidal connect. The same songs sounds much better using tidal connect then airplay.

And the hickups of the stream annoyed me a lot.

I use airplay for streaming spoken audio (radio features aka podcast) frommy phone or the sound of YouTube videos from my notebook.

I got this little beauties as well. I fear your amp is a little bit too weak for this speaker. They need quite a bit of power to shine. Try something like a (used) Cambridge Audio CXA 81 or a Musical Fidelity Amp. I run mine with a lyngdorf TDAI 1120.

Yes, I do try to minimize the need for EQ with thoughtful placement, but there are limits.

Therefore: I just bought a second Lyngdorf TDAI 1120 for my study. The RoonPerfect does wonders.
