They don’t need it as they are more capable of producing a decent bass on their own but I found that adding a sub adds a whole extra layer to the music that just isn’t there when you got speakers that start to roll off around 70-80 Hz and are not capable of producing anything lower than 38 Hz (-6dB that is)
Is subwoofer really needed? I thought KEF R3 doesn’t need sub.
