I was keeping an eye on the PBN-DN308 Denon turntable with Kuzma arms, and that build alone cost $75,000 between the table, tonearms and cartridges. It sold for $10,750. His ridiculous custom 1500lb turntable ended up selling for $19,750, which is around what one of the Kuzma tangential air bearing tonearms sells for, and it has two of them.

Good luck to whoever has to haul all of that stuff away.

    Well yes, but to be fair, he had 30 years of building time on it, and that was no doubt extremely satisfying. Also, by the time he got that done, his aging ears were probably the weakest link - growing old sucks.
