its always… Diana Krall, Jen Warnes, Fitzgerald, Fleetwood Mac, Pink FLoyd, Dead can dance, Miles Davis, Talking Heads

sometimes, Leonard Cohen, michael jackson or Jean michel jarre… but Paul Simon?

never heard him on any audiophile channel. but his music is just superbly recorded. Thoughts?

Apparently Graceland was recorded and mixed so immaculately that the mastering engineer, Greg Calbi, only had to make a few surgical, almost imperceptible, eq changes. To the point where he basically feels guilty for getting credit because he barely did anything at all.

Wow, thanks for the info. some say blue train by Coltrane is best recorded album, but i disagree, Graceland is simply incredible. And i dont have the best hearing for sure.
