    Simple answer…it’s not selling ;-)

Dealers have probably been heavily discounting it for years.

50 points is the normal markup with hi-fi

The Music Room carries some new gear. When they stopped carrying Rotel some of their integrated amps dropped by 50% to clear stock.

The same as all retail, to move it out of the warehouse for newer inventory.

    Edit: Also black Friday season.

Keep in mind Mark Levinson, the company, has nothing to do with Mark Levinson, the person. The company is Harman, owned by Samsung.

Whatever, it’s still the best in USA made audio gear, so much better than overhype Macintosh gear

There are so many great American hifi manufacturers that it’s rather a matter of taste. Just naming Mc and ML is pretty ignorant.

It’s really not so simple. The specs show:

      < 0.35% at 20kHz, 135W, 8Ω load

      < 0.04% at 1kHz, 135W, 8Ω load

Measuring at 20kHz, harmonics are ultrasonic and inaudible.

If you were to say the amplifier measures less than 0.04% THD at 1kHz into an 8 ohm load, most would think it’s excellent and inaudible.

PPM isn’t applicable for audio because there are no parts to count.
