You “pre-ordered” a pair. They labeled that part in red to stand out extra from all their other website designs.

It’s not a scam. You snooze… you lose.

Bro,the store you ordered is not their official. They wrote their official store name and attach the link from their page. And claimed that Only order from the following official channel store link can be delivered earlier.link

Yeah I’d advise never to order directly from KZ.

Even if you ignore the drama around the technical abilities of their headphones, the person(s) running the company is extremely unprofessional and unpredictable.

What made you try KZ in the first place?

My thought was the QDC port would be the least like to break on me. I’m not gentle with my electrics.

Dankpods recommended them. I was between them and KBears, so I flipped a coin like I do for all my decisions that carry little weight.

If either the result of the decision doesn’t matter, or the two decisions are identical, I’ll flip a coin. Leaves my decisions for more important things.

I didn’t realize this was out now. They can have my money, I absolutely love the PR2 and have no doubt that PR3 will be excellent. I’ll get my hands on it one way or another, I don’t care if KZ is a scummy company, a good product is a good product and in this case the PR2 (v1) was a good product and I don’t doubt that the PR3 will be one as well.

Yeah I just realized these were out too. Or will be out.

I was about to get some Chu II’s, and the pr3’s pop up beside them on Ali. I’ve never even heard planar and really want to… I was gonna get the pr2 but I felt I couldn’t drive them properly. Now these with 15impedance and 94sensitivity, they should be able to be powered by anything.

I’m gonna wait until the reviews come out, but I’m 95% sure I’ll be getting them.

I’d love to be able to drive them with bluetooth hooks KZ makes.

They will still be hard to drive. The sensitivity is low, which is what made the pr2 require 2vrms basically.

I’d want more energy efficiency from the next planar I get. Not enough improvement going from PR1 Pro to PR3 for me.

That’s not what they told you though. They told you to extend shipping time which is the time they have to submit a tracking number to the system, which is like 12 days on Ali I believe.

It’s not unusual for sellers on Ali during big sales to run out of stock, yes I agree it’s a bit questionable to sell things you don’t have readily in stock, but it’s not exclusive to KZ. For example a lot of people are waiting for their Dawn Pro DAC to get shipped from Moondrop, which is a much more respectable company in the chinese IEM world, so they’ll have to either do the same and ask for extension or… yeah I don’t know what else - but their Ali store listing for Dawn Pro has some negative reviews with people stating that they’ve just outright submitted a fake tracking number to avoid having to ask people for extension. Is that true? Who knows.

Mine just says “Friend, thank you for your order, we will send it out as soon as possible” and it wouldnt be the first time for a seller to ship or update the tracking information on day 11 out of 12. I buy in Ali fairly often and this is pretty common.

It will be alright, not all the sellers ship right away.

Have the zs10 pro X and they’re awesome for the price. Came in a few weeks through AliExpress no issues. Pre-ordered the PR3s and have no expectation on delivery as it’s a pre-sale. Obviously some people don’t understand how some of this stuff works and blames the company for it. Go to your local store and pick something in stock if you’re concerned about lead time. Seems very reasonable they offer you to cancel and get your money back.

I also have zs10 pro x and with a discount on msrp they are one of the best cheap iems you can get. Very clear. I am a big fan of hybrids. Even though KZ has had quite a bad rep, you gotta give them credit by aggressively pushing more value into budget iems, that has created pressure for their competition to do the same. Their as16 pro (16 BA’s) was only $30 on 11.11. Thats insane!

It sell pretty well on aliexpress. My guess is KZ dont even think they could sell that much on aliexpress (international market) and so they dont have sufficient stocks ready for the orders on aliexpress (international market).

Plus, it flagged as a featured brands/shipped within 72hours on aliexpress, so I think its kinda proper for them to ask buyer to extend the shipping time, when they couldnt meet the shipped within 72hours criteria.

You can cancel order and get refunded immediately because the item is not shipped yet. If you changed ur mind after cancellation, then you can probably place an order again during black friday sales or 1212 sales.
