went to soundscape in baltimore yesterday.
listened to the monitor bronze 500. sounded pretty good.
i did NOT think they sounded better than my jbl L890s. at all. maybe a bit faster. not near enough to make me feel like i was missing anything.
they were brighter up top which wasnt too bad. thought they lacked the bass/mid strength i get from 890s. i thought my treble was smoother, also.
yea, not double-blind or even a side-by-side test here. not concerned. ive heard better. better than mine. the monitors were ok.

This is a subjectivity/objectivity or psychology debate. Many will argue that the different room, time, physical and mental states will heavily impact your impressions. But you’re probably right tbh.
