I don’t think you need to search further than r/audiophile

I’ll be honest after a decade of this hobby with my DAP and IEMs and some A/B testing I can’t even tell the difference between 320kbps and FLAC.

I just admit to myself that I listen to FLACs purely for the placebo effect.

My philosophy is if you can’t make anything sound good on your system you’re doing something wrong.

Lot of people complain about the loudness wars and the lack of dynamic range. Skill issue. Pump the bass up and tune the rest until there’s minimal to no artifacts.
