I’m always surprised by this kind of thinking. Every “brand” of multinational size will have multiple lines to meet the needs of different markets both geographically and economically. Many (including me) love the Sony ES and QS product lines, but they’ve produced some utter garbage too. Most speaker manufacturers are the same- JBL ‘makes’ everything from Bluetooth speakers up to the high-end hifi stuff, it’s different design teams, specifications, and manufacturing facilities.

sound-man-rob@alien.topBtoAudiophile•Why are so many hifi shops and manufacturers so painfully arrogant?English1·2 years agoSame with all this high-margin tech. Quarterly bonuses, sales targets etc all mean that some sales goon will belittle you in a second for another £10. Choose your aesthetic, listen carefully, and don’t fall for extended warranties or cable bullshit.

sound-man-rob@alien.topBtoAudiophile•Who the heck said REW measurements was easy ?English1·2 years agoI don’t think anyone said it was easy. Who told you that acoustic measurement was easy? Why were you expecting it to be easy?
What do you mean by “fake”?
