Seperate the bass from 80hz down into a dedicated subwoofer unit and the current speaker will clean up nicely. Depending on your setup you might need something like a MiniDsp 2x4 to create a suitable crossover to actually unload your mid-high.

Go big. Large diameter woofers move more air and create more of an experience. Only problem is the WAF of those speakers. I am lucky to have 15 inch woofers in the living room as part of a three way. No dedicated subwoofer needed.
