I use Plexamp to serve my files to my phone. It’s works great and they have a client for basically anyone.

I had mine catch on fire too. I had a Modi Magni stack and after the amp caught fire, I tossed the DAC also.

From my limited digging, it looks like there somehow is a ground fault between the ground and the positive rail from the USB. I’m just glad it didn’t hurt my computer.
