1 year agoI have better pricing on avexchange and I barely used my iem. Probably less than a week of use https://www.reddit.com/r/AVexchange/comments/17xrdel/wtsusala\_h\_sennheiser\_ie300\_sennheiser\_ie600/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3
honestly ie200 are my endgame. I have tried all the sennheisers lineup and many totl endgame IEMs like z1r and mest 2 and ie200 beat both of those in musicality. It doesn’t have the sibilant peaks that ie600/ie30 has and does not lack pinna gain like my ie900 (making female and male vocals sound thin)
Not to mention ie200 is the most neutral iem that sennheisers has made with barely any bass (which I like) which makes the vocals very clear and emotional. At the end of the day, my taste is very different from everyone else’s and can’t understand why people complain so much about ie200. People talking about technicality acting as if they can hear more than what the song itself has to offer.
I kid you not, despite ie200 sounding not as resolving, I still hear the same detail as my high end due to its tuning. While doing that it also hides distortion and sounding more natural than treble forward IEMs that “try” to reveal more detail but end up being hard to pick out what you’re hearing due to how close it is to the eardrums
